- Darren Ruby is a 24-year employee at Cleveland Cliffs steel. He has also been a member of UAW Local 3462 since its inception in the plant in since 2004. For most of those years, he was a Scrapman servicing the plant. In early 2022 Darren and his family received the devastating news that he had Glioblastoma terminal brain cancer. He has been off work since early February and will never be able to return to work again. Co-workers, along with his family, started this page to help with the cost of out of pocket medical expenses for Darren's medical treatments and help providing for living expenses including gas for medical treatment appointments and home repairs needed.
