Hi, my name is Craig and with Carly's permission along with the Basingstoke and District Invitation pool league we are aiming to raise as much funds as possible to take care of the entire funeral arrangements so that Carly and the family can have one less stress to worry about.

Darren sadly passed away on Monday 10th February peacefully at St Michael's hospice in Basingstoke, this was unfortunately just 18 days after he was told that he had cancer. It was not expected that the horrid C was so agressive and would cut his life short far too early at the young age of just 48.

Darren was a massive lover of pool and is widely respected not just in the Basingstoke area but further afield into Newbury where he would run competitions at the Crucible and also played for West Berkshire at county level. He would always be keen to help out at all levels including when it came to EBPF events such as national finals and BAPTO tournaments alike.
