Hi, my name is Pam Tew and I am raising money on behalf of Courtney Huber and her two girls Paisley (7) and Aurora (5) of New Dundee, Ontario. Darren was recently diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery and chemotherapy treatments. Darren experienced complications from the chemotherapy and as a result, passed away suddenly and tragically on July 22nd at the age of 40. Alongside his wife Courtney, Darren worked for himself and owned and operated Huber Excavating & Septic Installation out of New Dundee.

Darren was full of life. He was famous for his big smile, his energetic wave, his tight hugs and his love for nature and hunting. Courtney and Darren purchased a country property outside of New Dundee where they built their forever home together. Darren truly lived for his girls teaching them the country ways of life including producing maple syrup, gardening, hunting, driving ATVs, and the appreciation of nature. His girls will live his legacy of loving the true outdoors.

I have started this Go Fund Me page to help donate funds towards an education fund for their girls.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for August 22nd, 2026 at the Plattsville Lion's Club from 1-4pm.
