Darrell's Battle

In October of 2009 Darrell underwent invasive spinal surgery for removal of a solitary plasmacytoma on his spine. He underwent radiation and then 2 years of an alternative monthly therapy with Zometa.
Now he has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, he has several tumors throughout his body and he is undergoing chemotherapy until he is at acceptable levels for a bone marrow transplant using his own stem cells. He is doing round 3 of chemo right now and hopefully next month (September!) - doctors will be able to harvest his own stem cells and rejevenate them to infuse his bone marrow with the healthy cells.
We are asking for donations to assist Darrell in his fight as he is battling this disease and his loss of income during the time off of work and mounting medical bills and prescription costs.
