Darrell's Rehab Fund

Hi dear friends and family,

As most of you know, on March 29th, 2021 Darrell suffered a catastrophic hemhorragic stroke. He spent the first month mostly unconscious, and in and out of life-saving surgery. He surprised us all by pulling through and even in the darkest days, choosing life.

Since then, he's been making small but steady building-block gains. We are incredibly grateful that Darrell's intellectual capacity and sense of humour remain intact. Physically, he is profoundly disabled and will require significant rehab and 24-7 support for the foreseeable future and most likely throughout the rest of his new life.

Many of you have expressed a desire to help in a tangible way. We've set up this Gofundme to act as a kitty for Darrell's future needs. We still don't know exactly what they might be, but we know they'll be expensive (even with government subsidy).

Every gift will make a difference and will be received as an expression of love for our beautiful Darrell.
