Hello friends and co-workers. Here is an opportunity to support Brenda Wilson, whose son Darrell recently died of rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer that most often affects children but showed up in Darrell as a young adult. Darrell recently worked in the COVID Data & Surveillance Branch, and Brenda works in Business Support Services at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. Darrell was an amazing young man, passionate about education, fitness, and his career in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In memory of Darrell, Brenda would like to help other amazing young black men pursue those passions by starting the Darrell D. Wilson Foundation. Many people have asked Brenda what they can do to help her during this time of mourning. Her answer is that you can help establish this Foundation in Darrell's name. What a positive and selfless act! I hope you will support Brenda's efforts. All money goes to her to set up the Foundation.
