Darrell Schroeder

Our local Realtor association's long time staff person Dorathey Schroeder has suffered a terrible loss; it is with a very heavy heart I must pass along the terrible news that Darrell Schroeder has passed away. Dorathey's husband Darrell has been a behind the scenes support to the Realtor family for over 18 years, and has been by Dorathey's side for well over 30 years. Darrell was the kindest, most loving man you could ever meet. On behalf of the LCBR Realtor Family, we send our condolences, prayers, and good wishes to Dorathey and to all of their family during this most difficult time. We are so sorry for your loss.

Dorathey herself has also recently suffered another minor stroke, after suffering a significant one earlier this year. The stress of dealing with this sudden turn of Darrell's health and now his loss is incredibly hard on her, of course. It is also financially very difficult. In lieu of flowers, I'd like to invite anyone who is able and wishes to contribute to please leave a donation here of any amount to help cover both the expenses that pile up, and to help Dorathey feel secure in taking some much needed time off work to heal. There isn't a tougher woman around than Dorathey. But now is the time to take care of you.
