I am asking for prayers for my family. On July 23, 2020, my brother Darrell Harris (to his biological family) Major Aswadi Harris (to his church family) has made his transition to be with our Heavenly Father.

Darrell is the firstborn to James and Louise Harris, the older brother and protector of Ronnie, Anthony, Maine, Neecy, Ann, and Al. His light made us all shine and our hearts are truly broken. Thank you Bishop Mwenda and Rev. Mbiyu and the entire Shrine of the Black Madonna Church family for loving Major Aswadi and always being his family. We know and acknowledge and appreciate all the care and all of the assistance you have shown him throughout the years.

I will be sure to communicate his final arrangements which will be held in Detroit, MI.
