Darrell was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in November 2019. Due to the disease, 3 separate instances in the hospital and the affect it has had, it has made it impossible for him to keep working.
Between Medicaid and personal financing, he was able to pay his medical bills. However, he is seeking additional assistance from his friends, family and the community in helping him get back on his feet. The reality is, the condition will not go away, it will not get better and it will be a financial burden going forward.
His loving family has been able to assist him in this difficult time in his life, but it is not sustainable going forward. Darrell is actively seeking unemployment/seeking to receive disability, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, it has made it very difficult to get in touch with the proper channels.
Darrell has been a life long member of Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, a hard worker and a true friend to all. Sometimes, life seems to be a tad unfair, but that has not in any manner wavered his spirit. We ask you for any in kind donation to assist Darrell going forward.
