Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

It is with incredible sadness, we share the heartbreaking loss of Darrell Da Costa. A devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend. Darrell suffered a cardiac arrest on January 26th, and despite every effort, the severe brain trauma he endured led Candice and her family to make the unimaginable decision to say their final goodbyes on February 3rd. This tragic and unexpected loss has left a young, beautiful family forever changed.

Candice now faces the immense challenge of raising their two children, Alyssa (10) and Christian (7), on her own. She has always been their strength, dedicating herself to her children’s happiness and well-being. Now, she must navigate the road ahead while balancing grief, financial responsibilities, and the need to provide stability for her children.

One of the greatest joys in Alyssa and Christian’s lives has been soccer! A passion they shared with their dad. It brought them together as a family, and we want to ensure they can continue playing without financial worry, giving them a sense of normalcy and a way to honor their father’s memory.

We are raising funds to support Candice with daily expenses, soccer fees, and any other financial burdens she may face as she focuses on healing and caring for her children. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact.
