Darrell and his family struggle with medical bills after a successful battle with cancer. Just as the family were about to make their dreams come true with the purchase of their new property they learned that Darrell had esophageal cancer. Unfortunately, he was not a candidate for the operation that is commonly preformed in treatment of esophageal cancer. This meant aggressive chemotherapy and radiation. After nearly 4 months of treatment, and several procedures to stretch his esophagus Darrell is eating normally and blessed to be cancer free. Although that is fantastic, medical bills will continue to come in as he will need CT scans every 3-6 months, GI scopes and more stretching if necessary in the first 2 years. Having already exhausted all savings during this trying time, the family is overwhelmed by the medical bills and feel like they cannot catch up. Even the smallest donation would be a blessing and appreciated.
