for the better half of the last year, Johannes has dedicated his life to running the Barcelona marathon.
His commitment to this goal has been nothing but admirable. He has sacrificed so much for this and I am on a mission to make this all about me.
To take away from one of the biggest accomplishments in Johannes life, I will be running a 5K on same day but raising money to help those affected by the genocide in Gaza.
My goal is for people to remember the 10th of March 2024 as the day Darragh ran a 5k and raised much needed funds for those in affected by one of the worst humanitarian crises's in modern times, while Johannes is out there running for his own ego and not benefiting anyone else.
Things to consider:
- I haven't gone for a run since September
- A 5k is not actually impressive at all
- There is no target time and will likely be 30+ minutes
- I don not plan on doing any training
- I will be hungover
- If I raise €250 I will livestream the run
- If I raise €500 Johannes has agreed to run a 5km straight after the marathon (I still raised the money tho)
- If I raise €1K before the day, I will do the run in a pair of Jeans and live stream
- €2,000 I will chain smoke the entire 5km
- Johannes is not rising any money
