This is Daron and Kara's home. This home was the start of their dreams! They worked endlessly to start their own business, RIVERLINE SHEPHERDS! In addition to that, they board, train, and groom from their home. They also provide refuge and rehabilitation to a variety of wildlife and have been directly involved in raising Nayeli the Wolfdog, who is an ambassador of her pack. She is a leader in Lexington's environmental conservation outreach and awareness. They are beyond caring; they are the most compassionate people you will ever meet and would give you the shirt off their backs to help others in need.

Now, they need our help.

Daron and Kara, two of the most selfless people I know, have had devastating effects from this historic flood. Words don't even begin to explain the heartbreak and destruction that the flood has caused. They have lost many of their possessions and resources for their business and animals. While they do have flood insurance, they are still left with a financial and emotional toll. Any funds raised will go towards resources to rebuild their home, food and resources for the animals, help rebuild kennels and enclosures for the dogs and Nayeli, as well as living costs.
