Funeral and other expenses for Darlene Farmer
Donation protected
Darlene went to be in heaven September 16th, 2021 at 11:11 am.
She has been in the hospital since July 14th. It started with covid pneumonia. Once the covid was cleared they were just trying to heal her lungs and get rid of the pneumonia. She was struggling to breathe well while on oxygen in the hospital so on July 24th they decided to move her into the ICU and sedate her so she can heal without worrying about her husband or children. Because if you knew her, you know how much she loved her husband, children and grandchildren. While she was in there she was constantly reaching out and asking how WE are doing while she was the one in the hospital.
While sedated her body got several infections and it was very hard for her body to fight them off since her immune system was weakened from being hospitalized. They were able to put a trech in, hoping that this would help fight off infections and get her on the upward path to healing. But they struggled with being able to remove her from her sedation. When they would try to remove her sedation her blood pressure and heart rate wouldn't stay in normal range so they would have to put it back on.
On September 15 dad and Vanessa met with her doctor and asked if there was ANYTHING we can do. He said she is suffering right now and that ultimaltely the only thing is to put her on palliative care and let God do the rest. So all of us met with dad and we decided that she is tired and ready to go live in Heaven, be pain free and be the beautiful angel she has always been.
She is one of the sweetest souls God ever created. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She would always greet her husband, children and grand children with a big hug and kiss and a "hello my angel".
We are asking for help to cover costs for the funeral and expenses to help dad pay bills since he will be loosing moms income. If you aren't able to donate financially, please say a prayer as she will be missed by so many.
Below is a list of her loving family who will miss her beautiful smile, voice and heart.
