Hello to all that knew my mother Elizabeth DARLENE Johnson. Darlene passed away Monday December 16, 2019. This was a sudden death that no one was prepared for.
Darlene spent her whole life working job after job to support her loved ones up until her last day. She was employed through A.C. Moore for over 20 years. Although she was a dedicated mother, sister, friend, employee, and coworker. Darlene always found ways to give her last penny to whoever needed it more than her. Which today leaves her with no funds to cover the cost of her passing.
As her child I am asking all that were blessed to have met her, all that were impacted by my mothers influence, all those loved ones that she leaned on for help when she was struggling, all those she helped get through hard times and anyone just willing to help her out just because you care. Darlene never really did like a hand out she always liked to earn her money so I'm sure she is in Heaven angry about the expenses left behind.
I Stephanie Mann am starting this fundraiser praying that everyone will come together to just give a little back to this lovely woman that gave so much to all of us.
Darlene's service will be on January 4th. I'm praying that this fundraiser helps us to have her present with us on this day. The cost of the cremation and services alone is $5,000. We also would like to obey her last wishes by burying her with her late husband Ernest Johnson III when the weather breaks. We would like to purchase a headstone that shows that Ernie and Darlene are together again. For now I'm just asking for any donation to help with expenses.
