Darlene vs. Hurricane Michael!

By now, many of you know details about Hurricane Michael and how it affected many people's lives. This fundraising campaign is to try and give back a little monetary salvation for a woman who has done nothing but be a loving Mom, Grandmom, Great Grandmom and friend to anyone who knows her.

Darlene Spencer has endured more than most people should have to be tested with. While I won't give a lifelong list of struggles, I'll just update on the here and now. Michael took her home. It's not livable and will be demolished. We were able to salvage/pack/move what we could but she lost a tremendous amount of things....things that insurance doesn't cover and memories that can never be replaced. In addition, a few days ago before the creation of this campaign, she and her significant other found out some painful medical news they will have to face.  Also, that very day, they both got into a horrible car accident - totaling his car.

When it rains, it pours.

Please help get this amazing woman back on her feet. She's never asked for anything. In fact, when I reflect back and watching her make due with 5 kids and a couple of jobs at a time, it's clear how and why she raised such strong, independent children. It's all we witnessed. She deserves so must respect and hopefully, this gesture from all that are able to donate know it will be appreciated more than you will realize.
