Dear Friends,
My name is Jayne and I am a friend of Darlene’s. If you follow K9 Recovery Services, you know that Darlene is the heart and sole of this service.
Darlene has just lost her life partner Ken in a tragic accident. Darlene and Ken have been together for over 20 years. Ken has been their main breadwinner and has looked after their home and their 3 beautiful dogs which has given Darlene the time to go out on rescues.
Darlene has been recovering lost dogs since 2017. She puts everything she has into securing lost pets and abandoned dogs. It takes time to gain the trust of a frightened animal and gently capture a dog on the run. In order to do so Darlene often lives in her truck for days at a time to track them 24/7 and set up a system to safely secure them.
Ken was a private contractor and does not leave her with a pension or insurance. If you have been touched by any of Darlene’s heartwarming stories of recovery or if you have personally had a beloved pet returned to you, please consider helping Darlene financially at this time with expenses and to help her keep her recovery service going. She currently drives a truck with almost 400,000 km, so every little bit will help.
Thank you for caring.
