Hi my name is Darla Laboucan and I’m fundraising so my daughter can continue going to school in Peace River. It was her desire to move to a bigger school for her high school years and I’ve done all I can to support her education. However, my family recently went through the devastating loss of my brother. It has been a really difficult time and the stress of grief has made me unable to work. I have applied for medical leave (EI) and am currently waiting for the medical note from my doctor before I can start receiving payments. I will be away from work for the next 3 months or so and I’m already feeling the financial strain with bills and rent due. My daughter and I appreciate any help we receive and thank you for hearing our story. The picture added is of my daughter at her new school:)
