Darla's fight against Leukemia

Hi my name is Robert Mccandless, I’m writing this for the strongest woman I know… my wife Darla. She is a wife, mother,  grand-mother, sister and the most caring person you’ll ever find. Everyone that has meet my wife automatically falls in love with her and her positive outlook on life.                   A few weeks ago we got some bad news… she went to see her doctor and they told her that she has early stages of leukemia. The news hit us and our family very hard. The reason I call her the “strongest woman I know” is because this is the 3rd round of fighting cancer. Over 20 years ago she overcame breast cancer with a double jab of mastectomy, then a few years after that the doctors found tumors in her ovaries and she had to do a hysterectomy. She was in complete remission for over 15 years and now she is facing leukemia. She remains positive each day which amazes me… I’m not sure that I could face this yet she is doing for the 3rd time in her life.                 I’m trying to raise some money to help cover some of her medical bills, and the days I have to take off from work to help take care of her. The doctors have started to give her medication and all the aftereffects that come with it is not very pretty. The doctors will be doing a re-evaluation in a few months and if the medication don’t work she will have to start radiation treatment which is one of her biggest fears. It’s hard to see your love ones go through hard times like this. We are very thankful for you to take the time and donate to our cause. HELP US WIN THE FIGHT TOGETHER.
