Hi, my name is Merlin Lemke. My wife, Darla Lemke, went in for simple gallbladder surgery, which is usually a 2 day hospital stay. However, complications happened, and her stay has been or will be 2 to 4 weeks. The doctors may need to revisit the surgery site again because some of the gallbladder was left in, causing pain and discomfort. She has been through a lot with 25 surgeries in her lifetime. Darla has always been a caregiver and being on this end of the spectrum is very challenging for her.
