Dariusz (Darek) Jan Matras

My name is Carissa and I’m reaching out to any and all for assistance in raising funds to help my best friend, Natalia Przybek, and her grieving family during this time. On 11/11/23 a beloved father, grandfather, and husband passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Anyone who knew Darek was aware of what an absolutely amazing man he was. He was beyond giving, loving, and caring. A hard working man that did everything he could, always, for his family. He carried such a beautiful light that you could feel in his presence. I’ve had the privilege to be welcomed into his family with open arms.. as one of their own. One of our last special moments together was him holding and hugging me, kissing me on the cheek, and telling me I am his family on 11/4/23… my heart is chattered for his family and loved ones. They are the most amazing people I have been blessed to know and love. I’m hoping, with our help, we can relieve them in any way possible of any struggles and stressors they are facing. They deserve to mourn in peace without expenses being on their mind. If you’ve had the opportunity of meeting Darek and his family.. you know what impact his passing has brought. What a gut wrenching loss this world has faced.. anything helps and I appreciate you all.
