Darius has been a treasured employee of the bakery for 7 years. He is a talented chef, a deep thinker and a good friend.
Several years ago, Darius was diagnosed with a cataract in his right eye. Unable to afford surgery, he was forced to put off treatment until he lost the use of his eye. Thanks to the generosity of a local surgeon, he was recently able to access care, but is still $2500 short of the reduced cost of the procedure.
As soon as he's able to raise the money, Darius will have his sight restored. We at the bakery sincerely appreciate any contribution you can make to our efforts to help him meet this goal.
