Darius Flythe Funeral and Medical Costs

My name is Katrina Slabaugh and I never thought I would be writing this, but I am devastated to share the news that my sweet nephew, Darius Flythe, has tragically passed away. This Tuesday, March 12, 2024 Darius (Age 17) lost to his battle with depression. Darius was rushed to the hospital in an urgent effort to save his life, but the hospital staff were unable to save him. As befits his kind nature, Darius had opted to be an organ donor. He was kept in the hospital for several days while searching for organ donor recipients. Several people were identified to receive the life-saving transplants.

This unimaginable loss has been shattering to his mother (Vanessa Slabaugh), his father (Jason Flythe), all his family, friends, and anyone lucky enough to know him. Darius will be lovingly remembered for his wry sense of humor, his love of sharing jokes, his sweet and goofy smiles, and big hugs.

It is with very heavy hearts that we are reaching out to our community to help the Flythe and Slabaugh families alleviate the financial strain after this unexpected loss.
