It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my best friends son, Darius Coles, who left us on Sept. 4, 2025 due to senseless gun violence. Sadly he was murdered in front of his twin brother just blocks away from their home, their safe haven. He was 20 years old and had so much more of this life to live. There's no way any family can be prepared for this type of tragedy so I'm coming to you with a open heart asking for your generosity, prayers and support as we navigate through this difficult time. I am asking for each and every person to please aid this family to help cover funeral and memorial expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to our family. Your kindness and selflessness will help us give Darius the farewell he deserves and help ease the financial burden during this heartbreaking moment.
