Small family-owned Pizzeria on Staten Island. We have been devastated by the pandemic and shutdowns per the mayor and Governor. We would love nothing more for you to come into our store and purchase something such as pizza or other Foods. Anything will help. We are just trying to survive and make it through these trying times that everyone else is going through. If you are able to help a small business that is suffering during the pandemic we would be ever so grateful and hope to work out something in the future to compensate those that donated, such as a free slice one day, but that date will be worked out in the future. We need help right now paying utility bills & rent. Although they are not shutting off utilities we are falling so far behind that we will not be able to keep up with the payments. Our local power Company came into our Pizzeria last Friday and served us paperwork to make phone calls and a payment arrangement with the power company. We just want to be able to pay the bills to keep the lights and the gas on. Also we would love help with purchasing merchandise each week to keep our store stocked with food so we can serve/feed our community. If you are in the area please stop in and say hello. If you could recommend us to anyone to come in and grab a slice or order anything that would also be excellent. We thought long and hard about making a GoFundMe as we did not want to "beg" or "ask" for help but we were denied a loan and we are not doing as great as we thought we would be able to hold out. Our prayers go out to our fellow business owners and workers in the restaurant/bar/Pizzeria business because we know this is an absolute trying time as we lay off more and more people because we are unable to pay salary. as of today December 7th there are only two people running the store right now because we cannot afford anyone to help us work. All money will go directly towards utility bills rent and food orders only period all money raised will go directly to the owner of Dario the baker's Pizzeria. If you can help in any way, whether it is donating or coming into the store and purchasing food we would be ever so grateful.
