Darin Lutgen’s Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Charlene and I’m hoping to get a successful go fund me set up for a couple in need of some financial support as they are suffering due to hardships from some ongoing health concerns that recently escalated. Darin Lutgen has been battling Crohn’s Disease since age 13, and is now 49 years old. Darin recently has needed more care, and has not been able to work. His wife Deanna, has been working, but is needing to take some time off in order to help her husband through these most recent hurdles. Deanna has almost exhausted all of her time off of work, and financial means, as she is needed in their home more now with care, and appointments. Recently Darin was admitted to the hospital for a complicated surgery, and just a couple short days afterward he developed blood clots in his leg, as well as his lungs. He’s had such excessive swelling in his leg, that he was unable to bear his own weight, since this has happened he has had some temporary relief from some meds, but is still greatly suffering. In addition, Darin was showing signs that his kidney’s were not functioning properly and on June 30th he was rushed off for emergency surgery which involved putting stents in each of his kidney’s the surgeon said it was worse than they thought, and it was a good thing they performed the surgery when they did. Unfortunately since his initial surgery on June 17th due to his Crohn’s Disease flare, marks just the beginning of what will be needed in order to start his healing process. Once this last surgery takes hold, and is healed enough over the next several months, he will be scheduled for yet another surgery to follow, as this first one he just recently had is just the beginning of the process at hand. If anybody would like to help this wonderful couple out in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Monies raised will help pay hospital bills, pharmacy expenses, gas money for Deanna so she can commute back and forth, household expenses due to the loss of wages.
