Dariana Rubio, 19, recently passed on July 20, 2020. She was born on May 3, 2001 in El Paso, the eldest daughter of Maria and Ricardo Rubio. She attended Canutillo ISD schools, and graduated from Canutillo High School in 2019. Dariana was a wonderful sister, daughter, and friend to many, who touched the lives of those around her. Dariana is survived by her mother Maria, her father Ricardo, and her younger sister Iliana.
Dariana was an active church member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in Westway, TX. She had a great passion for helping, especially at church activities and wherever she was asked. She also loved sports, especially softball, which she played during her high school years. Many of us remember Dariana to be a source of love and happiness, which always radiated from her wherever she went.
Dariana’s sudden loss has been heartbreaking for everyone, and her family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service, especially during this pandemic. We want to give Dariana the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
I am currently asking for donations on behalf of her family to help cover the cost of Dariana’s funeral. We need to raise $12,000 to be able to afford the funeral service.

Dariana Rubio, 19, falleció recientemente el 20 de julio del 2020. Nació el 3 de mayo del 2001, en El Paso, siendo la hija mayor de Maria y Ricardo Rubio. Ella atendió las escuelas en el distrito de Canutillo, y graduó de la preparatoria de Canutillo en 2019. Dariana fue una maravillosa hermana, hija y amiga para muchos, que tocó la vida de quienes la rodeaban. Le sobreviven su madre María, su padre Ricardo y su hermana menor Iliana.
Dariana era miembro activo de la iglesia de la parroquia del Inmaculado Corazón de María en Westway, TX. Tenía una gran pasión por ayudar, especialmente en las actividades de la iglesia y dondequiera que le pidieran. También le encantaban los deportes, especialmente el softbol, que jugaba durante sus años de secundaria. Muchos de nosotros recordamos a Dariana como una fuente de amor y felicidad, que siempre irradiaba de ella donde quiera que fuera.
La pérdida repentina de Dariana ha sido dolorosa para todos, y su familia no estaba preparada para el alto costo de un funeral, especialmente durante esta pandemia. Queremos darle a Dariana el memorial que se merece, para honrar su memoria y despedirnos.
