I am sharing this fundraiser for Darian and Emma, as their family is facing another incredibly hard chapter.

Darian is back in hospital after his fourth brain surgery. Over the past two years, he has battled a brain tumour through multiple surgeries, treatment, and long periods of rehabilitation. Just as they were trying to find their feet again, Darian experienced a serious decline that has brought them back to hospital and into another uncertain recovery.

Darian is a devoted husband and an incredible dad to their three children. He has fought so hard to keep moving forward, returning to work and pushing through rehabilitation with determination that inspires everyone around him. Right now, his focus needs to be on healing.

Emma has stepped away from work to be by Darian’s side through hospital stays, medical appointments, and ongoing care, while also holding everything together for their children. Like many families in this situation, the emotional toll is immense, but so is the financial pressure.

This family has already been through more than most. They previously lost their home and worked incredibly hard to rebuild. Now, with the loss of income and the ongoing costs that come with Darian’s care, their housing security is once again at risk. The fear of losing everything again is a heavy weight they are carrying alongside everything else.

This fundraiser has been created to help ease some of that burden. The support will help cover everyday living costs, medical related expenses, travel, and keep a roof over their heads while Darian recovers.
