Hello, my name is Bryan Foiles. My lifelong friend, Daren Bedford, recently passed away after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. I hope you had the blessing and good fortune to know him. He was one of the most universally loved people I’ve ever encountered—an artistic visionary who radiated positivity and goodwill to everyone, even in his final days.

Daren discouraged the creation of this fund because he never wanted to be a burden. However, I am starting it now in the hope of providing some relief to the wife and three young daughters he left behind.

Daren’s battle with cancer began 18 months before his own diagnosis, when his mother, Jenny, started treatment for an advanced stage of the disease. As a self-employed individual, Daren faced significant financial strain while caring for his ailing mother—a sacrifice he made willingly. When he received his own diagnosis, it placed him and his family in an even more precarious situation.

My wish and prayer is that this fund will help offer some comfort, support, and security to his surviving wife and their three young daughters.
