Most people who get diagnosed with cancer ask themselves "why me?" Or "what did I do to deserve this?" Cancer does not care who you are, what you have done or what skin color you have. Daren Rich has been a great pillar in the community and has been a devoted man to God all his life. For the past 14 years he has been a pastor at Nolan Valley Baptist Church while also running his own paint and body shop. As you can imagine, surgery and radiation treatment along with medications are quite expensive. He was approved for financial aid by Baylor Scott and White at first, only for them to change their minds because it would cost them too much money. If a hospital can't afford these bills, what makes them think that a blue collar working man can? Even with all these things happening, Daren's outlook is nothing but positive. He trusts and know God's will will be done. Daren has helped a great number of people in our community and has touched many lives. I am starting this campaign to try and raise money for his medical expenses and so that he can focus on beating this cancer. Please share this with everyone you know! Even if you can't afford to donate, sharing is just as good! Thank you and God bless.
