It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daren Johnson Sr, a beloved coach, mentor, and educator who dedicated his life to shaping the lives of so many in our community.

For years, Coach Johnson was a pillar of our community, known for his unwavering passion and inspiring spirit. Beyond the scoreboard, he taught us about sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork. He brought that same energy and commitment into the classroom working with students instilling a love of learning.

The loss of Coach Johnson leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts are with his family, including his devoted wife, Donna, and his children, Daren Jr. and Darius, who were his pride and joy.
