This campaign supports the 5th Annual Back-to-School Drive and Year 3 of The Dare To Dream Scholarship Program, two education initiatives led by The Dare To Dream Foundation to remove financial barriers for students and families in Legazpi City, Philippines

Education is one of the most powerful tools a child can have to build a better future. Yet for many families in the Philippines, the cost of basic school supplies, uniforms, and tuition can create barriers that make it difficult for students to attend school prepared and confident.

Through The Dare To Dream Foundation, our mission is simple: remove those barriers and create opportunities for students who need them most.

Each year our Back-to-School Initiative focuses on providing students with the essential resources they need to succeed in the classroom while also supporting students who require continued financial assistance to pursue their education.

This year marks an important milestone as we launch our 5th Annual Back-to-School Drive and continue Year 3 of our Scholarship Program, two initiatives working together to support hundreds of students.

Supporting 500 Students at Dita Elementary School

For the fifth year of our Back-to-School Drive, we are partnering with Dita Elementary School to ensure every student begins the school year prepared.

A total of 500 students, from Kindergarten through the graduating class, will receive the essential school supplies they need for the entire school year.

For these families, even basic school supplies create financial stress. By providing these materials for every student, we help remove that burden and allow their children to focus on learning and growing.

Continuing the Dare To Dream Scholarship Program

Our Back-to-School Initiative also supports The Dare To Dream Scholarship Program, now entering its third year.

Three years ago The Dare To Dream Foundation partnered with Genecom Institute of Science and Technology to support students who demonstrated exceptional academic promise but faced financial barriers to continuing their education.

Three students were selected and awarded full academic support from Junior High through High School.

Each scholarship provides:

These students are now entering their third year of junior high school, continuing their academic journey with the stability and support needed to stay focused on their education and future.

The annual cost of supporting each scholar is $1,000 for 2026, ensuring they can remain in school and continue working toward their goals.
