DARE TO BEE is a Conservation Project & Social Enterprise.
Our mission is to have a positive, lasting impact for bees, AND people around the world.
Dare to Bee is a project is being set up and run by the PATT Foundation. A UK registered charity with 15 years of experience in planting millions of trees around the world to offset carbon emissions.
Trees and Bees go hand in hand, and so do People and Bees!
Bees have been declared the most important animal by scientists, who understand that, if bees went extinct, humanity would soon follow. Many types of bees are now on the official endangered animal list and we desperately need them to pollinate our crops, so we can eat.
Our job at Dare to Bee is to help maintain and further bee population around the world, and we do it by thinking outside the box. Bees help us survive and yet we have so many vulnerable people within our society that are struggling with their own battles.
At Dare to Bee we want to bring the welfare of bees and people together. To create a conservation and community-driven blueprint that can be replicated anywhere in the world. We pledge that all care for bees and their products will be done by disadvantaged people in the community.
The right amount of hives makes its products commercially viable. Those products can then be sold to raise awareness and funds. Funds that then feedback to the project and pay for training, education and wages of the people taking care of the bees. A self-perpetuating cycle!
A win-win for all! Bees are nurtured and people get a fresh start.
Your donation will help support the training and education of, amongst others, veterans, ex-offenders and ex-homeless people to get back on their feet and provide an employment opportunity manging a network of beehives.
Your funding will also allow us to establish this project as a social enterprise that will produce various bee-related products that will be sold under the DARE TO BEE brand to ensure that the project is ongoing and sustainable.
