Darcy's funeral costs

Hi, my name is Sofia Cherny and I am fundraising for my boyfriend's (Tyson Spence) father, Darcy Francis Spence, who tragically passed away on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 at the young age of 46. He leaves behind 3 sons, Tyler, Tyson, and Alex, and his beloved wife of 22 years, Sharon.

Darcy was an extremely active man who participated in many sport and leisure activities both past and present including hockey, rugby, Jujitsu, judo. As well, he enjoyed golf, bicycling, archery, and most recently slo-pitch. He furnished a home gym in his garage during covid and worked out 3 and sometimes 4 times a week. Darcy had many accomplishments such as, being a pro-MMA fighter and making his own company, Spence Pest Co. Sadly, he suffered a massive stroke that was too difficult for him to pull through. Darcy was the family's main breadwinner with his pest control business that will no longer be running as he is no longer with us. His wife Sharon works part-time hours and attends dialysis four times a week. Darcy was also very dedicated to his wife that he would drive her back and forth to her medical appointments.

He will be greatly missed by his sons and especially his Netflix partner Sharon, his sisters and inlaws, and numerous friends as well, we will all miss his crazy sense of humor. Darcy constantly had people laughing with his movie quotes, pranks. Darcy was always there, either it being Alex's jujitsu or boxing, Tyson's football games, or celebrating Tyler's accomplishments, Darcy always had time. His sons were his world and his focus.

This all happened very suddenly for his family and were not expecting funeral expenses to be so high.

I and Darcy's family would greatly appreciate any help we could get to help cover the funeral costs. All proceeds will end up in his wife Sharon Dainard's hands. Funeral costs are due from the family by October 1st. We do understand we may not reach the limit but the family is grateful for any help whatsoever.
