Darcy Strickland

My name is Frances and Darcy is my brother in-law.

Darcy was such a gentle giant who had time for everyone. He especially loved his family and was known as the cool uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was only 29yrs old with the prime of his life still ahead of him.

But it was cut short as Darcy was killed last night in our hometown in Hastings NZ.

He and another cousin were together not too far from home when they were both beaten. The cousin is okay recovering at home but our baby brother was beaten to death.

The family is in utter shock at the moment with mixed feelings of hurt and anger. But most of all, we just want to be to together.
