Darcy Pell

On the 9th Jan 2021 Darcy Pell was running around pontefract park when he saw a poor dog was trapped in the icy lake. The brave man jumped in and rescued the dog bringing it back safely to its owners. Darcy has plenty of experience swimming in cold water hence why he was able to safely rescue the dog. It’s a blessing that he was in the right place at the right time. I know Darcy personally (he’s my brother in law) he’s a kind loving man who’s never asked for anything back in return ever, so I wanted to start this fundraising page to give a little bit of something back. Darcy has chosen for the donations to go to “Pontefract Dog Rescue” as it’s a local charity to him. We would also like to raise money for some life buoys for around the lake as there wasn’t any around when the incident took place.
