Hi everyone. Thanks for coming to this page. I am setting up a GoFundMe on the behave of my dear Friend, Darcy Nicks Ives.
On Jan 7, 2022 Darcy sustained a serious injury when she fell down her stairs in her home. She broke her neck and nose. On Saturday Jan 8th she had surgery on her neck to repair nerve damage from the fall. Surgeons fused C5 to C6 vertebrae. Darcy remained in ICU until Jan 15th and now has been moved to Rehabilitation so she can begin her long and painful road to recovery.
If you know Darcy, then you know she is a fighter. She has previously over come breast cancer and remains a bright and shining light to everyone in her life. She works a full time job and is raising her two amazing kids as a single mother.
Darcy is going to be out of work for quite sometime. She and her kids needs our help covering her medical and living expenses until she can return to work. The recovery process will be a last several months, and we want her to focus on her recovery and not have to worry about her bills.
