Hello! I'm Gwen Peterson, and I feel privileged to consider Darcy Brown one of my closest friends. As many of you are aware, she embodies kindness, compassion, and care. Darcy is always ready to lend a helping hand, going so far as to give the shirt off her back to those in need. She has dedicated countless hours to teaching me photography, assisting my daughter with volleyball over FaceTime, and aiding my son with injuries. Additionally, she has selflessly supported our family in various ways.

As medical related and additional non-insurance covered treatement expenses continue to accumulate, increased expenditure on gas for frequent doctor appointments. This will only intensify with the additional travel to and from chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The expenses further extend to covering meals at the hospital, coupled with the reduced ablility to make extra income, makes this all very hard financially for their family. It is for these reasons that I have initiated this GoFundMe campaign, aiming to alleviate the financial strain that cancer has placed on their family.
