Darci Strong

Darci is a wife and mother of two amazing children. She has also dedicated the last 20 years to teaching 5th grade and has influenced many lives. Her path was altered when she began fighting Melanoma last December. She has bravely undergone a number of treatments. Her  cancer has reached  Stage 4 and it is time for her to go to  the largest Cancer Center in the country, MD Anderson located in Houston, Texas. To do this, Darci made the tough decision to take a leave of absence from teaching. 

She will be flying to Texas on September 12th.  The airline tickets for her and Scott were $500. They will need to find a place to stay for at least a week, pay for other travel expenses, and transportation while there. There will also be insurance co-pays for the many visits scheduled.
