Darci fight the evil boob!!

On August 11, 2023, Darci was diagnosed with stage 1, level 2, triple negative, ductal carcinoma. (Basically her boob is evil and must be stopped) This is the most common form, but an aggressive type of breast cancer. The past two months have been filled with doctors visits, tests, and scans. Due to the triple negative diagnosis, the treatment protocol requires 24 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by surgery. The Clift family does have medical insurance, however, copayments, deductibles and time off of work are rapidly adding up.

Darci is the most caring, hardworking, level headed and positive person you will ever meet. She juggles 3 jobs at once while raising 3 kids as well, 2 of which being in college. Unfortunately, jobs can only do so much when it comes to medical bills. Darci isn’t the type to ask for help, but in a time like this it’s necessary.

Although this diagnoses has been hard, she has maintained these jobs and prior commitments through the chemotherapy and doctors appointments. Coping with all of these things and dealing with illness while still remaining positive and productive is close to impossible, but if anyone can do it she can!

P.S. Check your boobies! Darci discovered a lump only 11 days after receiving a clear mammogram!
