Darby's Path to Healing and Security

Hi, my name is Darby and I spent 4 months going through an abandoned hoarders house as an antique dealer. During my time spent in the home, I found and gathered boxes and boxes of sexual abuse evidence against women and children that later put Gerald Brown in jail, now awaiting trial. I am raising money to help pay for bills as I’ve fallen behind and I feel like I’m drowning. I am currently facing eviction.

My world has been flipped upside down. I have been trying to keep my head above water but I just cannot manage my previous diagnosis of CPTSD in conjunction with the horrific criminal evidence I’ve seen. I am nonfunctional most days and my mental health is spiraling. I never expected to be here, but I am here now, and I need help.

$1300 will go towards paying my rent for the month of June and ensuring that I am not evicted. $500 will be used to catch up on electricity and water bills, and I’ll use the rest for food and inpatient treatment at a mental health facility. Financial help will allow me to finally take a breath and professional trauma therapy will help me move towards stability again.
