- Hi, I'm Darah Sinchah Foon and I am in dire need of financial assistance. My story is all too familiar in Honolulu. I have no choice but to flee the land of my birth in order to avoid becoming another casualty on the streets, or a burden on those that I love. Hawaii, as you probably know, has the highest cost of living anywhere in the US and I cannot endure living here any longer. Since my wife of blessed memory passed last January, I have been without what little SSDI she was receiving, and am behind on everything. And now, my car broke down, plus I cannot afford a mover... so I'm selling all my furniture and mailing everything else in boxes. I'm blessed that there is a local food bank which I frequent, and the rent I am a perpetually a month behind on is one of the cheapest around. However, everything else is ridiculously expensive and I need to move to be with my sister in Cincinnati where there is a better quality of life. Where my own SSDI will allow me to finally fulfill my wife's final wishes, that I should thrive - and not just survive. I will also be able to live near an abundance of Orthodox Jewish places of worship and thriving communities I yearn to be a part of. I pray that you may help or share this. Thank G-d for sustaining me and bringing me to this time, in order that I might make a change and live a better life.
