Darragh Cottrell passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, two weeks shy of his eighth birthday. He was enveloped with the love of his parents Sylvia and Dan until the very end.

In addition to mourning the loss of their sweet son, Sylvia and Dan are now faced with more uncertainty. They will have to navigate the financial challenges that come with an immediate loss of income as Sylvia has worked full time as Dar's in-home caregiver for his entire life.

As their friends, family and larger community this is our time to uplift this beautiful family so they may grieve and plan for their future without having to focus on money right now.
