If you've ever met Maricella, then you'll know why I've called Sunshine Girl . She has Mexican warmth and a loving, kind, gentle, and fun personality; she and her husband, Pablo, helped us at Rossnaree. The opportunity arose for them to help my Mum Imogen; she could offer accommodation and some part-time work caring for her. This has been a match made in heaven! Maricella and Pablo had been caring for Mum for more than 3 years. They have been looking after her like she was their grandmother, and Mum grew so very attached to them. Sadly, Imogen passed away last Sunday,

This beautiful girl, Maricella, who is only 33, full of life and plans for her future, has had her dreams torn apart with the diagnosis of stage 3 colorectal cancer. They have had to stay here for her treatment as it was necessary to act fast. She is still undergoing treatment And will need a lot of support still. We started this fundraising in October but with extra complications, we have extended the appeal
