Daphne Cravens - Cancer Battle

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kathy Wines. I am writing this for my cousin, Daphne Cravens. She is more like my sister really, the sister I never had. I lived with them from age 12 to 18 so we fought like sisters, but it brought us closer together and I love her so much.
She is the most amazing single mom of two high-energy boys 13 and 9, her boys are her everything. She makes sure they do their best in school and has them in sports as well to build lifelong positive character. Some of you will be able to relate, two boys, schoolwork, sports, ballfields, keeping a home and working a full-time job. Not easy to say the least, superhero status to be honest.
Well, this superhero mom I call my sister from another mother, an evil villain has attacked this amazing, beautiful, and caring woman. That villain is cancer. She was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer back in April. Her mother passed away from this disease before Daphne was 18. She waited for the Doctor to tell her what is next, and he did. The treatments started slowly at first, then ramped up in intensity to beat this villain back. She kept working full time, kept her boys safe from the thoughts of what the future might hold. She kept them on top of schoolwork and playing sports. She keeps their world normal as she fights silently and fiercely. She, this wonder mom, has now had to stop working, the treatments are wearing her down as they kill this villainous disease.
Although she has had to stop working to continue to fight, expenses have not stopped and FMLA has not kicked in yet. You can only do so much, everyone has limits. That is where we come in! That is where YOU come in! We must do what we can for her, by we I mean everyone that reads this. She is you. Just a parent trying her best to make it. Trying her best for her boys. She did not deserve this. You will be helping her, but you will be helping yourself as well. Every time you look at your son or daughter, every time you witness them hit a milestone, memories etched in time. This could be you. We owe it to humanity to be there for one another.
With this, I humbly ask you to help. Anything, any amount. Help her while she fights for her very existence. It is the least we can do.

Thank you so much,
Kathy
