I am Tish Banda and am so proud of my son Dante Hudson. He has been afforded an opportunity make his dream of researching animals in the wild come true in South America!!

From Dante:

I am currently a Junior at Texas State University studying and pursuing my degree in wildlife biology. I’ve always had a passion for wildlife and working with animals since I was a kid and it’s my dream to further my career in wildlife research and conservation efforts. This upcoming spring in April through May with The Fauna Forever Research Program is making a field research expedition to Suriname, South America a country abundant with diverse reptiles, bird and bat species. During this trip the herpetology team will be conducting research on the many diverse vipers, caimans, frogs, skinks and other species in the Amazon to collect and record important information for projects and research that can be provided to scientists and other researchers. Going on this trip would further my experience in research and development the knowledge to apply to other fields of research. I’m also blessed with the opportunity to be a zookeeper at a facility under the reptile team allowing me practice to handle and work with an amazing department for snakes, crocodilians, lizards and etc. helping me build my compassion and experience with these animals while still being in university. Donating to this trip allows me to gain more knowledge and awareness to animal research and conservations of many species of animals. I will also build connections and networks to other parts of the world to help explore and bring awareness to nature and the vast life it nourishes and use this experience to help me land a career in research.
