Dan (Papa) Taylors medical fund

For those of you that know me you know I  spend alot of my personal time trying to do as much I can for others. I got this attribute from my Papa, Dan Taylor.  Dan and his wife, my Nana, have spent the last 40 years dedicating their lives to taking care of those in their community.  Through pastoring, missiong work and visiting with the sick and poor.  Detials are below instructions on keepin g this a surprise below.

(before sharing please block Barb if she is on your friends list: When you see the page, you select the second option "Share" Do not select "Share now" or this will post right away and not allow you to block anyone. Then on the bottom you will see a friends tab, select that. Then select the more options tab, and "custom" option. This will bring up a section to "block" someone from viewing. You will need to enter her name, and select her facebook so that it cannot be viewed.)

In March of this year Dan had what they believed to have been a few small strokes. They have since found that he has a tumor in his brain.    Its causing pain, slurred speech, weakness in the legs and right side of the body and he needs to use a wheelchair as he falls a lot.  They are still trying to figure out how they can help as surgery is not a viable option due to a heart condition.

He needs more testing and their insurance will not pay for anymore services until after first of the year as hes reached the cap for the testing he can receive until then. In addition, trying to take care of their personal needs and bills during this time has become overbearing.  They also need to move from their home as it is not handicap friendly and he needs to move closer to the family there that can help him.

If you can find it in your heart to help someone who has spent their life helping others (and is the sweetest, kindest most loving man, father, husband and papa) Id be forever grateful - as I know they would be.

They did not want to ask for help but they live off an extremely limited income and so the time has come that those that love them must take action to make their situation safer for him and more comfortable.  They are at the stage in their life that they need help and can not afford what is needed. THIS IS BEING DONE AS A SURPRISE FOR THEM SO PLEASE DO NOT VERBALLY SHARE WITH THEM.  If you repost and are FB friends with Barb please block her.

Please share this story and help me help my grandparents alleviate some of the fiscal, medical and heartbreaking burdens they are facing.

Anything and everything helps and THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.  T. Lynn Hawkins
