In Memory of Dan's Fight Fundraising

Angie, Rylee and Dano need our support and our love! After 8 months of fighting the toughest battle of all, our dear Dan and Danny to others sadly passed Saturday, March 1, 2014.
My sister Yesenia and I met Dan 14 years ago through my brother-in-law ('Sammy') and instantly forged a special friendship. Danny and Issam were each others wing mans.
All of us who had the pleasure and been fortunate enough to know Dan and his family know what a genuinely amazing person he was. When you stepred into Dan's world you are instantly made to feel welcomed and part of his family. He was an amazing host, kind and generous - the person we all aspire to be. Whether it was his LOVE for the backyard and the sun, hanging out by the pool with him, the family parties, his cooking (he was a great cook) or his rock star mojitos, Dan's enthusiasm, infectious sense of humor and spirit are the things you remember and loved about him.
Dan is husband of 23 years to Angie (they are high school sweethearts) and father to Rylee and Dano. Rylee is at Tennessee University and Dano attends Santa Margarita High School. He has guided, nurtured and been a true friend to his kids. Dan always ensured to give back. His continued involvement with his alma mater- Mater Del High School (Class of 84), coaching football and supporting fundraising efforts for the school is just one of many examples of how Dan put others first before himself.
In July 2013, Dan was suddenly diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Since then, it has been a long journey. Dan was a fighter, enduring over 8 months of hospitalization in different hospitals, multiple surgeries and many rounds of chemotherapy treatment, yet he always remained incredibly upbeat and optimistic until the last hours before going to heaven, thanks to the love and support of his wife, kids, everyone who knows him and of course his faith in God. He fought this battle until the last minute with a smile and positive attitude.
But now Dan's family need your help!
First, we want to share with the world the story of an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and colleague. Second, we initiated this fundraising effort to help raise funds to support Angie, Rylee and Dano. Your contribution will assist in meeting the considerable medical bills that unfortunately his treatment resulted in, safeguarding the future education for Rylee and Dano and assisting with day-to-day living expenses.
We won't give up the fight to help the Josipovich Family even tho our friend is no longer suffering and is looking at us from heaven.
