I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my son, Daniel Harriman. Daniel is a twenty-five year old husband & father. He & his wife, Molly are parents to two year old Henri & Molly is expecting their daughter, Hazel, in May.

On Tuesday, January 25th, Daniel was moving some furniture in the new home he & Molly purchased in December when he became dizzy & fell. Unbeknownst to us at the time of his fall, Daniel had an aneurysm in his brain which burst.

While in the emergency room, Daniel was in & out of consciousness, suffering multiple seizures & as a result had to be transferred to a Boston Hospital via Med Flight, however due to the delays as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Daniel was forced to wait for life-saving measures & did not undergo emergency surgery due to massive swelling in his brain until the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 26th. The doctors explained his situation was grave and to prepare ourselves for the worst. Despite this premonition & suffering two strokes, Daniel pulled through.

Daniel is a construction worker & his income is 100% dependent on when he works; he does not accumulate paid time off & is the sole insurance carrier for his family. My son & his wife are extremely proud people who are just beginning their life’s journey however, they are now facing an unknown future as we do not know the extent of Daniel’s true prognosis & probably will not for some time, however he will sustain permanent disabilities as a result of this tragedy.

I am a 911 Tele-Communicator & spend my days dispatching police, fire & EMS to those in need; now I find myself & my family in need of your help.
