Dan's Fight Is Our Fight
Donation protected
Our family has been impacted by Glioblastoma (GBM). My brother-in-law was diagnosed in April 2021. Brain surgery removed the tumor and he received radiation and chemotherapy. Despite the treatment, there is a recurrence. He will require additional medical treatments and another surgery is one of the options.
Glioblastoma affects approximately 13,000 to 15,000 people each year in the US. GBM is the most aggressive type of tumor that arises in the brain and is one of the most lethal forms of brain cancer.
They are a close family and any spare time Dan has, is spent with them. His favorite activities are golfing with his son, watching his daughters sing, and dance, and coaching their basketball teams. With the recurrence, he is not able to enjoy these activities.
Dan and Ana are always willing to go above and beyond to help family and friends. Now they need us! Please help raise the funds they will need to cover these unanticipated medical expenses as they search for a treatment that will help him live a full happy life with Ana and their three beautiful young children, ages 14, 11, and 7. Due to Dan's symptoms, it is now difficult for him to be the hands-on dad that he normally is and he is facing many challenges.
He will require medical assistance, multiple doctor's visits, and treatments that are not covered by insurance. This is a very aggressive cancer and time is of the essence!
